About the event
What if a kitchen could become a place for stories, connection, and peacebuilding?
Join us for an intimate evening where Palestinian food meets Palestinian stories, an evening of cooking, learning, sharing, and connection.
Two Palestinian community members will guide us in making traditional Palestinian manakish, while storyteller Izzeddin Hawamda shares stories of food, land, memory, and community, stories that live in our kitchens and travel with us wherever we go.
Over food and tea, we’ll cook together, share stories, and create space for meaningful conversation, facilitated by Karen Ridd.
Because food is never just food.
It carries memory.
